This is humbird I started Atkins Aug.21 2000 after reading my medical records and seeing my last few doctor's (4) had called me obese. I had really bad rheumatoid arthritis and was put on steroids which was the beginning of my fall I started steroids at 162 lb's and grew rapidly over the next 4 years 3 years ago I stopped smoking which helped me gain to a grand total of 245. The day I looked at the records was the day I started Atkins. I cried and told my family I could not be obese that was a hateful word to me.
To date I have lost 38 ¼ inches and 42 pounds. Still have a long way to go even if it is slow.
