I am 26 live in ohio and have been heavy all of my life.
I started atkins on 3-12-01 and to date 4-30-01 have lost 24lbs....
My turning point was when I realized that I was out of sizes at the store...26/28 is as big as Lane Bryant carries and I DIDN'T want to have to order my clothes from a catalog that has only old folks clothes!
I stumbled accross atkinsfriends.com LCF and it has been a blessing for me. EVERYONE there is awesome. They are all supportive and very helpful. Without them I proably would have given up already. It also helps me that I met someone last week from LCF that lives close to me and we hung out and have plans to hang out again. If you ever get the chance to talk to Swisher42 you should do it, she is great. Thanks for keeping me motivated Swisher42!!!!
